How is HiveBoss different from ChatGPT or Claude?
ChatGPT and Claude are assistants for one person. HiveBoss is where your team and your AI work together: rooms where people, Bees and your agents talk, a HiveMind that remembers what the whole team learns, and pages that keep themselves current. Keep the assistants you like. They can read from and add to the same HiveMind.
Which AI models does HiveBoss use?
HiveBoss works with leading models, including Claude, GPT and Gemini, plus image and video models, and picks the right one for each job. On Team and up you can use your own model keys.
Do you train AI on my data?
No. We don’t train AI models on your data, ours or anyone else’s, and we don’t sell it. To do the work, HiveBoss sends what a task needs to AI providers whose terms don’t allow training on it. The details are in our Privacy & Data Commitment.
Who can see what I add?
Each Hive has its own memory, and nothing crosses from one Hive to another. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. You can export your HiveMind and account data at any time, and if you close your account, your data is deleted.
What is Honey?
Honey pays for the AI work: answers, research, Bees and keeping pages current. A quick answer uses a little and deep research uses more. Chat and Waggles with people never use Honey. How Honey works.
What happens when I run out?
Your Bees pause and tell you. You set a spend cap once, so there are no surprise bills. Top up, or wait for next month’s Honey.
Can I use HiveBoss from Claude Code or Codex?
Yes, on every plan. Publish pages and ask your HiveMind from your terminal, and everything you make shows up in your Hive for your team.
Which other agents work with HiveBoss?
Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and any other agent that speaks MCP can recall from your HiveMind and add to it. Your agents work from the same memory as your team.
How does email work?
Forward or CC your Hive’s HiveBoss address and the email goes into your HiveMind, where Bees and your team can use it. On Plus and up the address is your own, you@hiveboss.email.
What is a Waggle?
A voice or video call in a room, with screen share. When it ends, the recap goes into your HiveMind. Waggles are included on every plan.
Is there a mobile app?
iOS and Android apps are coming soon. During the beta, HiveBoss runs in the browser on your phone and your computer.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, any time. Your Hive and HiveMind stay yours, and you can export them.
